Thanks Danny and Pat. I had started to believe that this would never happen again and I'd be forced into just watching fish swim.

Nice Willie !
Good luck with them ..
Here you go again. You always manage to breed the most cool fish. Fingers crossed for these. They are stunning.
Thanks Jeanne. I'm feeling very encouraged.
Willie congrats on your spawn, don't know if you're familiar with the raising of plecos but don't wait till the egg sack is gone to feed, most pleco will graze on wood if you put a small piece of driftwood in your tank, I like the Malaysian because it's soft you will notice that the fry are eating because there will be poop and usually before the egg sacred disappears ,and the hypancistrus is mainly a meat eater but also eats veggies

Spring is in the air~
Just had Farlowella vittata spawn. They're in a bare bottom tank with no plants, lots of guppies, L-333 Hypancistrus and bushynose plecos. Usually the female lays eggs on a vertical stem. This one had to lay her eggs on a heater cord! It's in the back of the tank, so I can't get a good picture of it. There are only two whiptails in the tank, so I lucked out.
