Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi!
Re: New product Australian Blackworms Flake
I feed Tubifex now. The ones sold commercially are farm raised. They haven't come from sewer water (although the worms are well equipped to live in sewage). I've considered raising my own but the scale I'd be able to raise them on doesn't come close to what I need to feed all my tanks of fish. I make do with freeze dried cubes
NO SIGN OF ILLNESS NOR UNEXPECTED DEATHS FOR OVER A YEAR NOW.
Re: New product Australian Blackworms Flake
I literally took Liz's advice on tubifex worms I found on a different thread. I feed my fish fish freeze dried tubifex worms 2-3 a day with zero issues. Very clean. Very safe.

Are you talking live or freeze dried, Liz?

Jay, I don't think the freeze dried blood worms have much nutrition. They look like empty shells. Besudes, the Discus don't like to eat from the top and freeze dried blood worms float.
Re: New product Australian Blackworms Flake
Freeze dried bloodworms are also high in protein ....... Hikari Freeze Dried Bloodworms protein 55%

Liz and Francis
When I said fdbw I meant the freeze dried black worms sold by Al.
Sorry for the confusion, but my question still holds.

Re: New product Australian Blackworms Flake
