Is this normal !!!

Hi guys ... one of my female discus lays eggs 1 hrs before , thing is that she never had a group with any of the males in the tank & when i saw her she was laying eggs alone & no male is near her ... but Now a male is guarding/fanning the eggs & he is nipping the female & as the female came near to eggs or tube he try to put her away ... i am confuse , maybe i missed while male was fertilized the eggs. What you guys think ... this is first time ever she lays eggs & she tried before many times to get a male for breeding but no male interested as they already made groups with other female. So what is going on .... i know ill see in 2 or 3 days that eggs fertilized or not ... BUT do you guys had any experience like this !!!

Yes, this can be the normal, the male would only make a couple runs over the eggs and swim away.

Thanks for reply .....Okay cliffs so you seen the pic & saying maybe the eggs fertilized .... hmmm .... will let you update if the eggs hatched.

She ate all eggs ... The End ...
