There is a whole bunch of photoshop in that last one lol. There were more people than I care to admit. If we were to have travelled 1.5 more miles down the river, people coming back from upstream claimed that the water was chest high. I definitely wanted to do this but my feet were so cold. We decided to turn back.

We took innertubes and a small cooler of beer with us one year. It's really nice floating... But you're right, the water is very cold and we usually went in late June or July...

I never got deeper than waist high in one specific place but on average it was about calf level so it is tough to imagine inner tubes lol. Either way, it sounds super fun!

I am sure there are beautiful places like this in the East Coast as well. My brother is a huge National Park type of guy and I kind of just go with the flow. :)
