My life has taken yet another turn.
As many of you know, my husband lives with multiple medical issues. He keeps me very busy taking good care of him, as well as myself. I try to fit in pottery making as I can.
He fell last week and broke a hip, to go along with his other issues. He had screws put into his hip to hold bones together and is now in a rehab facility to get back on his feet, hopefully in a few weeks.
While he is gone, I am making as many cones as I can to stock up my inventory. When they are finished in a few more days, I will be shutting down my pottery studio until early January. I must take a break and prepare for him coming back home and then take care of him. I need hand surgery in Dec. if possible.
If you need something special of clay, let me know by Sunday night and I can make it. But it will be January until I can take any more special orders. I do have a couple dozen cones right now, terra cotta and the swirled clay.

Hi Barb,
Sorry to hear about your husband's hip. I've heard they're not easy to recover from. Hope all goes well with your surgery and pottery sales.

Thanks so much for the kind words above. It helps to know people care and are thinking of us. I will make pottery all weekend, and then close up my studio for awhile. But I will be back! Simply Discus is such a great place and I am honored to be part of it for so long! Watch for an "offering" around the holidays from me to benefit SD.

So agree with Ricardo's statement above.
Barb, I could use a couple large pleco caves but the tube style vs the cave. This guy is about four inches. Anything you can recommend?
