Not a problem yet, but could it be?
While doing wc a this morning my Tiger Carnation Turk got spooked and splashed around by my wood piece. Later I noticed this and wanted to net him and put a H2O2 on his scrape as recommended in threads here for wounds. I showed my husband the thread so we could work together but he thinks I’m overreacting. What do you think. Here’s a pic Attachment 115638

I see this all the time on mine Patty. In my humble opinion just keep the water really clean. I think you will be surprised how fast they heal. It's like magic when they are kept well like I know you keep yours. By the time you read this it will be healed. Good clean water... is key.

Thanks Jenene,
I’ll sleep better now. Funny I just took a picture of him earlier on the whose your favorite discus thread. Afraid I might’ve jinxed him. Thanks for your quick response.

Try clean water for a couple days Patty. Should heal it right up. :)

Thanks Pat,
I sanded this wood piece down like crazy when I bought it and I’m so glad I did now. Whew!

Patty I agree with Jenene and Pat. Just clean water and it should be fine.
