OK all!
Just getting back in to the swing of things here after a very busy holiday. LOL!
No firm date has been established yet for the January meeting. I've gotten very little input. I'm going to bump the old thread from the first meeting so that those that were part of that thread are aware of the new meeting. I'll be leaving for Japan on January 21, so it has to be before that or pushed to February.
For those of you who are just joining the group, the meeting will be held at my home in San Diego. We'll have a BBQ, raffle, lots of discus, and lots of fellowship. Check out the past group thread for pictures and feedback of the last meeting. It was a great time!
Best wishes and happy new year!
Hey, did you guys and gals know that Chad has been elected to the NADA Board of Directors???? Congrats Chad!!
Larry
Thanks Larry!
Wow!! Congrats again Chad!
Thanks Melissa!
OK... January is out, obviously.
I'm headed to Jpan on the 21st and won't be back until the first week in February.
How does Febraury look to those wishing to attend?
Best wishes!
Feb 26th/27th weekend is good for me.
Chad,
May be if you could change the title of the thread to something with the words "So Cal Discus Meet 2011" that would get more attention. Just a thought
I'm on military duty from the 5th to the 20th, so later in the month works for me best.
I would be interested in attending...
Good point about the title. I hadn't considered that to de an issue. I've adjusted the title of the thread to be a bit more topical. I'm in Japan all week and am looking forward to a gathering when I return. Keep that inpout coming as far as dates are concerned. I'd love to see the meetings grow.
Best wishes!
Which part of Japan? I was stationed there twice.
Im at NAF Atsugi. It's near the city of Yamato in Kanagawa Prefecture. We have a great view of Mt. Fuji! :D
I flew into Atsugi once because I had to go to see a specialist at the hospital in Yokosuka. Too bad it's not later in the year, you could have gone on one of those Fuji climbing tours. I still have my climbing stick from when I was 18.
Let me know when you're back, I've got an order and I want to talk to you about a pair that I can't afford, LOL!
