Thanks Jody :)
But I guess I may step down on the breeding projects very soon. Too much work, handling more pairs.

You did a great job. I'm also stepping down on my breeding, I'm getting to old, to much work for me.Quote:

I'll be selling Discus from Discus Hans again soon like I did about 5 years ago.

Nice work with these Sanjay. Great seeing the progress from the very beginning. Good luck on any future attempts

Really good job!! Those look like awesome juvies
Thanks Kevin :)
This is my first batch from the pair, so excited to to see how they will turn up. They will be Albino intermediates too.
Nice work Sanjay...as usual mate...can you plz explain what an "albino intermediate" is? I have 2 red albinos, I actually think they may be albino red cover but I cannot confirm that for sure. Someone wrote when I asked what I would get from the red albino/red melon pair I have...they said very clean melons and some "intermediates" but I don't know what that means...can you educate me? Cheers mate
Hey Daniel, albino intermediate mean they are a carrier of Albino gene since one of their parent is an Albino. So if this batch in bred then I will have 25% of the babies to be Albinos.
In your case since both the parents are Albinos you will get 100% albino offspring.
Oops sorry I just read the post again, since only one of the parents is a albino you might get 100% red melon intermediates with a very little chance of having 1 or 2 albinos.
Ok gotcha, thank you Sanjay!!
So if I get viable fry, raise them, and breed an offspring with the gene back to an albino, then I will get more albino offspring?
Thanks mate
