Birds of paradise are beautiful.
So awesome. Borneo and Papua New Guinea still have so many secrets I bet. I'd love to go, however my fear of heights would be tough in those tree top platforms, and heard it can be quite dangerous still. At any rate I could watch films on those birds forever. Evolution at its finest.
That video was gorgeous and is an excerpt from a show on Birds of Paradise which I have seen on NatGeo Wild I believe. It was either one or two hours and gets into lots of detail not only on the various birds but some of the camera techniques involved. Well worth watching. :D

She rescued a red robin she calls Bob that she taught to mimick her whistles and she had a baby hummingbird also that was amazing to watch fly around her all day.
