Discus as a dither fish for fancy plecos?

I was just wondering what the general consensus was on the forum about using Discus as a dither fish for fancy plecos like Leopard Frogs and Zebras. Do you guys think the plecos will see the Discus as a dither or have the opposite reaction and view them as a potential predator? I’m just curious about whether or not having Discus in the tank will prevent or encourage breeding activity. Also if you were to add a school of traditional dither tetras like rummynose or cardinals in addition to the discus if the tetras would counteract the negative effects of a predatory fear of discus. Any feedback or experience is appreciated.
