it aint larger by much. one day I aspire to have bigger tanks full of wilds like you, but I think it will have to wait until we either finish the basement and make the floor level, or move to a different house that has a portion on a cement pad. My 1949 home is at its limit with the current tanks I have I think.
Ok, here's the tank with the background. Not a great picture but gives you an idea.

I love it. Looks great. Can't wait to buy this background too. I can't get my project going until my pump is for sale. It has been out of stock for like a month already :(.
oooooooh, ahhhhhhhhhh, that background looks sweet Pat. Good job with the silicone and white bottom. I can hardly wait to see the wonderful pieces of DW and fish swimming around in there. I think that if I reincarnate to a fish, I would like to be a discus fish swimming in this tank.
Finally making progress. Lots of start and stops :) The tank is inside on the stand with the sump underneath. Tom and I pieced together the plumping between the tank and the sump today. I will be gluing it tomorrow. Went with hard plumbing this time so a first.
Plumbing picture. Tee-ed the drains together and the return is in the middle. Have unions in case some adjustments are needed in the future. The tank is pulled away from wall for easier accessibility.

Attachments to the sump inlets. The sump is wrapped in shower liner which will be unwrapped once the tank is in place and laid out in the stand to catch drips etc and is used as water collector for any leaks.

Looks sweet Pat. What pump did you go with? Mag 9?
Yup Ricardo. You can see the barbed end in the right most picture.
Very nice Pat! The setup is coming along and plumbing work first rate. Can't wait to see it running
Gluing PVC is a hair raising experience and it dries way too fast. However, so far so good. The critical parts are done. :D:D
