    Default Free drift wood :)

Not sure if y'all remember the flood we had here some years back but it washed up a TON of drift wood. So after looking at it time and again driving to the gun range I decided to stop today. I picked up 10 or so decent pieces. Are there some woods not to use. I know to soak them in a bleach bath for a few days to sterilize. Just don't want some piece of wood killing my fish.

Bleach... then I soak them in a ton of prime because it will neutralize it, but then I know people that dont do that... it can just take a while for everything to seep out so its always been my prefered method when doing driftwood, lots of it around my area too.
