    Default New Apex Controller

I picked up an Apex controller yesterday and have been trying it out. It seems to work very well and has a lot of functionality. Currently it's turning my LEDs on and off as well as a T5 lamp, Turning the return pump from my fluid bed on and off and also monitoring the temp of the water and switching an 800W titanium heater on and off. The unit has a built in web interface to configure it and also get real time data. I should have a ph probe soon and will get a conductivity probe as well. Future plans will be to have it fully control LED fixtures with dimming capability, and then expand to do the same for the other tanks. As the project progresses, I'll make note here.

Sounds cool Len. Which tank are you automating?

The 77 Gal to start with. Soon enough, I'll add modules to do the 130. I'd like to automate water changes too, but that will be awhile.

It should be easy enough to do, but it's a matter of getting the time to plan and implement. Every time I say things are slowing down, life throws me a curve ball and I get swamped again. It's all good though
