These look very impressive! Can I ask how many you culled (if any) to have such an impressive group?

Wow Eddie those look super nice, and the size seems massive for their age. I can't wait to see them as they develop even more.

Shapes are awesome on these guys. Nice color pattern starting to form as well. Can't wait to see them in another month or so.

    Good job Eddie!

Thanks ALL! They aren't that big. lol

Rick, I ordered 10 of them and received 11. Not all of them are what I would call nice but about 8 of them are growing nicely. I'll surely remove the ones that I don't like as they grow out.

Cos, I did get to see the parents. I posted a video of them in another of my threads. You can't see the (turq) Mom too well but you can see the Heckel (dad) well.

I see Eddie, guess I should have re-read the start of this thread. I had thought you had spawned them yourself, thus the question.

Ah, I was wondering, thought you might have been thinking I bred them. Its tough getting a batch of 12 each 1-1.5" fish and having half of them turn out very nice. Much easier growing out an entire batch of fry and culling heavy IMO.

13 weeks. This is just after a water change. They went 7 days without a water change and 2 feedings a day with Mal's FDBWs while I was up in Germany.
