Thanks Josie. Its interesting how these are shaped. I was looking at a tank of full grown wild caught heckels and the shape is very distinct.

Looking good, Eddie....all of my Heckel X's have matured into very round fish,strongly influenced from the Heckel genetics.It also looks as tho' they throw the same in their fry..These of yours will obviously do the same...good luck with them..Gary

A few. LOL My absolute favorite is one that has a broken hard ray on its dorsal. Its not completely broken off, only bent to the side. I think it was damaged from transit. Its not a big deal as the fish will still grow nicely. I'll get a shot of it in the coming days.

Here's a quick update on these. There is a high body fish in the group. Not my particular liking but he's tall. lol

Thanks Pat. None of them have heckel characteristics, maybe a little. Also, NONE of them are similar. lol The tiny runt of the group (literally 3 inches) carries the best traits. Go figure...smh
