I've heard everything from 7 days to 14 days is a good treatment. I'm more apt to follow the 14 day treatment.
Hi everyone, I have 2 discus's poop were brown and yellowish couple weeks ago. They were just hiding in the back and didn't eat any thing.
They are currently in 10 gallon tank. I treat the tank with seachem metro. 2 scoops every other day, mix frozen food with metro also. Now they are getting better. Their poop are turning black but they still don't eat very well. They swallow the food then spit it out but they finished all the food (I turn off the filter while they are eating). Should I continue treating them with metro? or just wc?
I do aged water
- temp: 90
- ph: 7.8
- ammonia reading: 0
- nitrite reading: 0
Nothing added recently
Thank you

14 days, it takes a while but it works.
Thank you, it's been 12 days. If they still don't eat that well for the next 2 days, should I continue?
By this time they should of been eating already, I would change your course of action, why did you select metro, you should fill out the questionare.
I chose metro because it's recommended by the seller. One of them is eating but the other still not
I did fill out the questionare on my previous post.
Thank you
