from what you said, 2x 55g tanks are good. if you start another one, then will be another one in short time. that's how we start discus . I guess enjoy not doing water change and good luck with personal thing hope it turn out good.
Hey folks I have been dormant the last month or so I have sold alll my fish and 3/4s of the equipment and tanks I had bought from Kenny(ACROKEN) for personal reasons. I have been kicking around setting up a 55 or two. And keeping it small. I am curious what you guys think! I have to say I enjoy not doing water changes lol
I do like some of the Fish Beals brought and A local guy I heard has some nice juvies coming up?
What ya think!

Dave,
I think if you start one tank you will start another....lol so why not. Water changes aren't that bad unless you are growing out or raising fry. Of course I just bought two more 29's last night so maybe I am not the one to ask.

Mishka,
Your post on your t-aqua old german pair is whats giving me the itch lol. I may just set up a 90 gallon for now and keep it simple. I have about 10 tanks in storage and sponges and filters just need to build a stand. Maybe a week end Projoect.......?
LOL. Well I am glad I got you thinking about it again. Those T-Aqua RTs are just really nice. They are doing a great job with their fry.
START the weekend project!!
I have been slowly building my stand after work all week and I finally finished it. Working out the plumbing tonight after I pick foam for the bottom of the tanks.

I think having only one tank but bigger is the best way to go, specially if they're show tanks, usually when there are two one is neglected.
I have enough tanks four 4 pairs and grow outs but I dont want to get into that at the moment i got a burnt out before I want to just enjoy some discus I think im going to get some juvies!! they are at least fun to get to grow and then when they are old enough to breed then I can get some pairs going. Stand planning for this weekends build is happening now lol!
We are all "Discus Lover" one tank never enough, 10 tanks still not enough.
Taking care of multiple tanks isnt as fun as one or two lol trust me not to mention the cost. One will be plenty for now.
I'm still hoping to have my dream tank setup for nada, 96x36x40 or maybe 96x36x48, drooling........
I wont do a show tank! But just a barebottom sponge filter setup nothing fancy!
Hey Dave,
Do it so you have fun with it.
Mishka
Exactly!!!!!
