Yesterday I saw a small white dot on my largest discus. Today when I got home it had grown insanely large. I will add pictures after this post.

IMO you should start aging your water in a separate container as to not get PH swings.municipal water Yes Burbank,CA Area
Get your water aged and if you want to use the Maracyn-2 try using both 1 and 2 together I have had good results using them together.....JosieWas using Maracyn-2 to treat cloudy eye. Done with treatments now.

Can you get a photo head on so I can see better...Josie
Thanks so much. I will pick up some more medication tomorrow and keep up the water changes.
i have successfully used polysporin. it might sound a bit drastic but my rationale was 'drastic measures for a drastic situation'. it worked. I would rather use a topical ointment (where possible) than have my fish injest the medicine.
Update:
Water changes weren't working and he stopped eating. Moved him to a hospital tank and have been treating with Tetracycline.
After 24hours fungus has started disappearing. Discus is still acting weak and isn't interested in food but I will keep him in the QT for a while and hopefully nurse him back to health.
Here is how bad the fungus got:
Here is where the fungus is as of today. You can see how it is breaking up and starting to disappear.
