parents keep eating the eggs

Hi Guys,

can you please advise if they are real couple? (NOT Lesbian)
the couple end up eat all the eggs in next 48 hrs.

Been doing this for more than 10 times, I though the male is not mature enough so I just leave them eating the eggs.

I used to cover the cone with bigh white plastic mesh but the parrent was so scared and not blowing the eggs anymore.
so I feel sorry and open the cover

do you know what strains are they? Are they both blue Turq?

Even when they do get it right and raise their fry, they may never do it again, or they will do it in spurts.

They are turqs and leave the screen on. If putting the screen on makes you feel bad are you going to be able to cull the low quality fry? If you are not willing to do that you probably should not be spawning the fish.
