How many discus in 90 gallon tank?

Hey guys, I already have 7 healthy discus in my 90 gallon with 4 angels. For filtration I have magnum 350, two Tetra hanging filters and sponge filter. I was looking to add 3 more adult discus. So that would make it 10 Discus and 4 angels in a 90 gallon. Is this oK?

What size are your Discus and Angels, and what's your wc regime ?
10 adult discus, along with 4 adult angels would be pushing the envelope, potentially leading to problems for you.

No. I don't even agree with putting 9 discus in a 90, let alone 10 with 4 angels. A 90 is only 4 inches taller than a 75, I think that what you have now is fine maybe even pushing it a little bit with your bio load. Unless you do 90-100% daily water changes I wouldn't do it. Im guessing based on your picture that you have gravel in this tank? If I was you id also remove that..

I have 12 discus in my 75 gal tank I go by stendeker Germany advice ,2 runts at 3.5" 10 discus at 5" to 6" lots of driftwood, places to hide

They are all nearly adults now, i have a veryy thin layer of gravel and do 80% wc every week. The discus are very healthy and thriving..

Yes I have, my discus are all stendker discus! I already have a source thats selling them as adults!

If all your existing fish (11 - 7 discus & 4 angels) are all adult size, and you're only doing wcs once a week, do not add 3 more adult discus or you're just asling for trouble - time will prove that out.

Just remember water changes are your friend do it at any sign of stress .I would get rid of the angels.

80% a week and you want 14 large fish in a 90? I do 50-80% lol. Take my advice when I say "Bad Idea"
