I'm curious why people need to buy so many of these if they don't wear out? How many do you need per tank? I see folks ordering 50 or 100 at a time, but most don't have that many tanks.

Well, if you have 50 tanks it's easy to use 50 or 100 of them.

the arstones will wear out after sometime using them...they will last long but not forever, btw they r just a few pcs of plastic...people saying they will last forever, i think it is probably means they will last long compare to the normal type of airstones...thx.

That makes sense since they eventually wear out. I thought maybe they didn't because they are plastic and could be bleached when they get clogged. The adjustable flow rate sounds unique. I assume the bubble size increases or decreases when the flow adjusted upor down?

In my case I bought 150 of these as a group buy with my fish club here in Kansas city Missouri. Every one saves when we buy in bulk together. We do that a lot. Saves on shipping and getting to meet with people from the group is fun.
