All of you are doing very well with your grow outs. If this keeps up each of you will have a number of beautiful round adult RT discus... Hopefully you guys will sell and ship some of the out when full grown...

Yes Rich. It's all settled now. A little hiccup in the beginning for 2 days. Now all set. Looking very good.

    Ok...here is an update for ya'll! 04/07/13

Fish are doing great! All are very healthy and growing! Now, almost all are over 4 inches and you can clearly see the winners and losers in the batch. All are coloring up, some have weaker chins than others, and some have great shapes and fins, others have average, other than "Funky Cull Medina", there are no bad fish, just better in the group. Rigth now, i could pull 10 out of this group, that i would consider breeding quality, another 10 or so that are above average, and half a dozen good fish, I would cull 4 or 5 but will not do it yet.

    Some pics for you:

    AND FUNKY CULL MEDINA!

Lastly, a video for you guys:

    Thanks for looking!

Hello again! So here is another one for you! Didn't have a chance to make a video today, just snapped a whole bunch of shots from the tank to show how they are doing. Funky Cull is on the brink of being culled...I feel bad for her, she tries so much but has no shot of competing, she now hangs pretty much by herself in the tank, so maybe it's time to go.

One more interesting issue is that 2 of the fish are showing "pinched" sides, perfectly healhty, active, and pretty fish, but pinched sides...any toughts?

Look at the fish on the bottom left...

You can see better on the top fish:

The size and shape is very uniform. Looking great Rod!! Can't help you with the pinched sides.
