    Default Piwows on Eggs

Sat in the fish room for an hour or more last night just waiting for them to spawn and then checked back every half hour. They were dancing and pecking and cleaning all night long but no spawn. I really wanted to get them on video. Long day at work today and didn't get home till 8:00 expecting to resume my watching and waiting. They have acted like they are going to spawn for about 3 days now. Went straight to their tank and what did I find.......................a nice clutch of eggs. Not the best pics. A little washed out since the lights were on in the fish room and I was using my phone, but here they are.

Josie said she thought they were a pair and it sure looks like she was right. Gotta prove them though. Some meth blue and a screen and wait patiently for 48 hours.

    Larry,

    Of all people...

If you watch a pot it'll never boil.

    Hope they're proven!

Hope you get wrigglers shortly. They know you trying to watch they were just waiting for the music to play and enough alcohol to get the currage up to do it :-)
    Thanks Timmy

I tried my best to find a male and female here but Hans has been doing this much longer than me so he may be right. I hope it’s a pair but we will just wait and see. It’s great that they spawned already it shows the care you give your fish......Josie

Thanks for the best wished everyone. Hans is pretty dang good at sexing Discus so we just have to wait and see.

Josie- I am still very happy with the fish whether they are a pair or not. There are never any guarantees on sex unless they have been proven. If they do turn out to be two females then we will just have to find male, lol. Time will tell.
