    Default Red Head Tapajo's in the Comunity Tank

    They've ben laying eggs for some time,a week ago came home to a surviving spawn.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]They survived for 2 days,so I siphoned them out and threw them into a 5gal I had cycled.Hmmm,5gal,where'd I get that idea?[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

    When they get a little bigger,Jeff.Obviously tolerate discus temps,and dont bother the discus,but do get into it with themselves,sometimes.Got a school of 6 in the 180.

    here they are a few weeks older.Moved them into a 40gal.[IMG][/IMG]Some endlers in there also.

    Wow,thats a crappy picture,time to wipe off the tank.

    I found they are fine with discus,tolerate the temps,and even,obviously,breed.They can be a little active,and if there is any aggresion,its amongst themselves,unless they have fry.Then they protect like any pair.

    Bill you don't have a problem with the geos out competing the discus for food? That was my only problem with them.

    I didnt have that problem,but I knew of others that did.They are in a 180 communitty,with schools of tetras and a bunch of plecos and cories,so I have a tendency to overfeed.Clean-up crew takes care of the excess.
