So after feeding my Adults some live Brine shrimp for dinner an 1 hour later I come to the tank and see that my female Velvet Red Pigeon is busy cleaning the cone and doing dry runs. She has been doing this for the past 10-15 mins while my male Ring Pigeon doesn't seem interest at all. Ashame, that he doesn't know where the fun is at...

Thank you... So she lay probably around 50-70 eggs but the other Discus in the tank just pick them after she had laid them... The male came buy and join in the feast as well...
Here's a video of the male, the Pigeon Red, and the female all now enjoying A feast of eggs. The male pretend to protect the eggs but only to have a crack at the eggs...
My red turk did that for about a year before he got it right. I think I remember threatening not to let him mate anymore and then he just stsrted doing his thing...... funny fish.

It's also funny to see the male guarding the cone, kicking the other four adults discus butt, cleaning the cone, and doing the mating dance with the female all after the eggs have been eaten... He's learning as this is his first time...
