I think Mr.Page's sound is more synonymous with the LesPaul. When thinking SG,think Tommy Iommi or Angus Young.

I guess JP played both LP and SG.

As you mentioned Tony Iommi here is one of my all time favorites. Not trying to hijack your thread, I hope we have enough rockers to appreciate this

    Enjoy!

Not a highjack. One of the first songs I learned, and a go to when a set was a little short.
A lot of my tattoos are music themed.

With an avatar of Poco I would have thought more of a Jim Messina, Ritchie Furay, Rusty Young fan.

My username and avatar have nothing to do with the music group Poco. It is another story may be for another day

    Bill,
Looks GREAT! Music has been a major influence in my life as well....so many great players played/play SG's from Iommi to Angus to Derick Trucks and many, many more....

I am pretty private on many things but I hope you dont mind me sharing this on your thread....I though you may appreciate it
From The Beatles to Pink Floyd...to STP, Chili Peppers, A perfect Circle and Tool.....lots of stories behind this one!
Been working on this for 2 years....

Maybe we need to start an "INK THREAD"!

Eric, thats pretty bad ***.My right arm is going to have a "blues" theme.I started a little late,I work pretty much out doors and have a pool,so it might have to wait until the fall.I have a faded dragon on my right shoulder that I want to get a hell hound,as in " hell hound on my trail"and we're not sure it will work as a cover up.A traditional koi will, but I would like to go with the blues theme if I could.

Derek Trucks almost made me not want to try and learn slide after hearing him.But Im not a teenager trying to cut heads anymore, just playing for fun now.

I thought this could be an ink thread, but I had to come up with an obscure title.I will be updating,as the sleeve starts,so it will get a regular bump.
