Looks painfully familiar. Best of luck on digging tomorrow.

Finished digging the the front last night. Went down to the drain tile (about 48"). Today as soon as it warms up a bit I will inspect the front and try and find the point of entry that the water came in from.

Good grief Jeff! Hadn't gotten around to looking at this thread until now. I kept thinking you did one of my moves and answered the phone in the middle of putting water back in the tank! Way to hold it together though! Look at the bright side... you can no re-do your family room! (bad joke... I know; sorry).

Man, that sucks. I'm up in Zion in a relatively new sub (1994) and it all drains away. Who do (did) you have your home insured with?
I think I've got foundation cracks developing and guess I better review my SF policy.

Hope it's all coming back together for you.

Crack is sealed, hole is filled, new studs are up, drywall/mudding is done. Just finished painting today, so all is back together except the floor. Still not sure if I am going with Vinyl or Ceramic/Porcelain tile. The vinyl is 100% water proof, the porcelain can be also if done right. Since it is going on a slab, I want to make sure it is sealed properly if I go with tile.

There are some nice 18" x 18" stone looking tiles out there that I might go with. The vinyl you only have a few choices. The good about vinyl is, 100% waterproof, the bad is, if I do get flooded again (hope not) I would have to take up the vinyl to dry it off. You can still get mold under it.

Ceramic/Porcelain if groated correctly, nothing will get under it or on top seeping in. It can be 100% sealed.

Still up in the air about it. But as I said, all the hard work is done.
