whatver you do, dont use the word flood with your insurance company...just say the wall fell down and you have water damage, not flood!

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

most homeowners insurance will have a flood disclaimer. And screw the fans get a dehumidifier and now.

Well its 4:30 in the am and still cleaning up water. Have to drain and move the 95 gal today so I can get behind it. Its been a rough night for sure and as I said, more rain coming in.

The dirt from around the front of the house has pulled away from the foundation and exposed a crack or two, not really sure if there are more. Will have to wait for daylight.

Thanks again friends for your concerns. The dehumifiers have been running all night along with the shop vacs.

Haven't stayed up this late in well, 20 years.

Ok, break is over, back to cleaning.

    Thanks

A call would be good Sean, thanks.

Give them my number if they do.

Jeff - sorry to hear about all the troubles - certainly the insurance company will take care of the damage - I think this is going to be one of those wet springs in our part of the country - give me a call if I can help with something

Sorry about your troubles too Bill.

Think I found where it is coming in the house. Running shop vac over the area. Emptied about 50 or more gal of water already.

Mine dont compare to yours. Before I decided to call into work, left a note for the wife that the basement just looked like I had a bad tank overflow, nothing to worry about.

I guess i'm joining the flooded club as well woke up to find the ceiling fan in my dining room has water streaming from it with a giant puddle of water all over my hardwood floor, and my crawlspace has about 2-3inches of standing water. Looks like i'll get the day off work, but it wont be any fun.

Sorry about all your flooding Jeff, Bill and Mike. Hope you all get dried up soon and damages paid for. In hurricane season here, June-Nov, we see so much flooding in our flat, low-lying geography. No fun at all, just hard dirty work.

Its still raining and the yard is completly flooded. So far the basements dry but If it keeps raining I dont know how long it can hold. I just hope we dont have a power outage I have a back-up but not for all the tanks. God please make it stop raining.

Jeff if you need anything Im just a phone call away......Josie
