    Default Best "cleaning" tank mates

I would to know what people have in their tanks with discus that will clean up any algae of uneaten food. I had some peppermint britlenose but their were on the driftwood all day and didnt really see them too active on the bottom or glass ( they may have been more active at night when the lights are off).they didnt really eat the zuccinhi i would put for them now and then put in for them. I also notice they would make abit of a mess of the driftwood i had.i have a barebottom tank without plants.

I no longer have them and was wandering what would be the best to replace them. Should i stick with the brittlenose catfish? Corys? Other suggestions?
