Jester - S0S Crew Texas
Is ur pleco sucking on its side
Jester - S0S Crew Texas
Really? It's a very small pleco. Could it be from " fighting" with his tank mates? I've seen him getting into squabbles with the Turk. They are chasing each other and nipping
When my guys fight the marks are small blackish marks but I have wilds so unsure about domestics. Those marks do look round to me so really do not believe it is from fighting/nipping.
Eward, from the picture the eye appears to be a bit puffed out or is it just the picture?
Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
Just the picture. Thanks for the info. I think you guys are right, they look like hickies to me. Any treatment other than clean water, amd remembering to feed the pleco ?
Clean water should do it but once a pleco gets a taste of discus they may not stop. I learned this the hard way and rehomed the pleco. Could you rehome the pleco temporary to rule him out as a problem source?

Yes, I have another tank for him
If Furan-2 is not available at LFS, try Tetra Fungus Guard.
Main ingredients: Nitrofurazone & furazolidone
No fungus guard on hand, but I do have metro powder and Prazi pro, and tetra para guard- which of course is only for parasites, and won't help me at all ! I don't plan to do anything except water changes and salt if necessary
Sound like a good plan. Just in case you have to treat him, Petsmart carries Tetra Fungus Guard.
