dry ferts are cheaper - work the same. You probably are lacking plant nutrients. You just have to add ferts every time you do a water change plus a little in between. It's almost as hard keeping plants happy as it is keeping discus happy.
I ask this question on the planted tank forum and it was suggested I use this...http://greenleafaquariums.com/aquari...rtilizers.html . It is the EI method of using fertilizer. I am not familiar with fertilizers in fish tanks. Is this safe to use with Discus? I was told with all of the water changes done in Discus tanks that too many nutrients are removed. I have used Flourish and Excel, but, it has not really helped. I was told this dry fertilizer is cheaper and works better. Any thoughts?
