I am not talking about a little pista I am talking about 3lbs+it is 4'x2'. I throw out 1.5 lbs ever w/c.

Find your solution interesting. I was reviewing another post where they were saying the same thing about one large change rather than several small changes. I'm building my system just like I do for my saltwater tanks with automatic WC's every day of 10% and a tank with large amount of plants. Is your Nitrate readings more a result of your planted tank? Would seem to me to be where your nutrient export is happening. Jerry.

Yes the system is flawless nitrates have never post anything but 0 fish are growing fast
