    Default Marineland does it again!

About 7 months ago I sent 6 heater that had failed back to marineland for replacement. Two within the first month failed on the off position. Two months later another failed in the off position. The last week I notices my angels were acting strange. I them found out why. Their water was well over 100 degrees. How they were all alive I don't know. I contacted marineland with a previous email about replacing heater so they knew this was not my first rodeo with them. I asked them for a refund or heaters from a different company as I No longer trust their heaters in my tanks. They responded within a day instead of 2-3 weeks and said they would refund me with the average retail price of about $30 bucks a piece. I'm happy they were so cooperative and i won't have to deal with this junk anymore.

I too had a marineland die in the off position. Didn't come around to talking to them yet.

Is it best via email or phone, as you are the subject matter expert

Email is easier I think. Just make sure you let them know in the first email you don't have receipts for them and that will save you some time.

Marineland makes great aquariums but their heaters are garbage. Get a Eheim and the rest will be history.
