Pretty little snake. We found one in the rafters of our "party shack" years ago. We left him there for rodent control. Love seeing them.

fuark!!!!!!!!!!! i am terrified of snakes. they are beautiful creatures but they scare the heck outta me. i get this weak feel when im near one. i would move like superman or even faint if i saw one outta nowhere in my backyard.

Wow Pat, I can't believe you handled it well. If it been my wife, she would have killed me if she found a snake anywhere near the house. She is freaking out over a few little lizards that have made a home in our backyard. I keep telling her that they are helping her keep her plants free of pests.

Jorge, I have handled snake since I was a kid. My neighbor's daughter has a ball python which my neighbor said bites everyone. I asked the daughter if I could hold him and she is sure. They were a bit surprised when the snake did not bite me. I said it is all in the approach I regularly catch lizards too.

My brother caught an albino corn snake in his neighbors garage.obviously someone's pet that got loose.my son had it for years,I think we got it up to over 5ft before it died.

Had my parents not been against keeping snakes, I would have been a volunteer snake catcher at our local snake conservatory back in India . I still remember sneaking out to go play with snakes....
