    Beautiful fish but I have a question. Its probably a dumb one lol but here goes. Why do they call them "blushing" reds. Red is obvious of course but wasnt sure about blushing.

    Look at this blushing red. Notice the red around the operculum, I believe that's why they call them blushing reds.

    I see theyre beautiful. Mine are trying to get their red. Some days theyre a little orangey though. Still babies but they dont have the pale face. Their whole body is red.

    I just have to have some nice bright Reds with my tank....no one has them way down here :-( shipping $$$$...could get a second job, lol. Have sent Mike B. a message/email. His website states that he is taking a break :-(

    Kenny has some nice reds. Also, Marion @ Florida Discus has some nice reds (though I don't know if they're as deep red as Blushing Reds) and she's about 3 hours west of you.

    You can always find hobbyists nearby willing to split the shipping.
