Thank you Jorge. I keep expecting the angels to show growth like discus. I come around the corner to their tank every morning and say "Nope still small." LOL
It is going to be fun trying to separate them into each strain. I have been told that I will get some Double Ds, Double Ds with Het for PB, Silver something, Something with lace, some PBs and something that sounded like Dark chocolate with peanuts, but I know that cannot be right. If anyone asks me the strain if/when I sell these I am answering Black, Black with blue, Silver and Silver with a blue Bindi.

We'll have you get some pics as they grow bigger and then start to figure out who is who. I have some right now at pea size that I'll wait a little longer before I determine who is who.. Since this was not a planned spawn, it ended up as a cross of a koi with a blue marble paraiba, so like you I can tell there are at least 4-5 different types... But I'm thinking nickel to quarter size before I cull to keep only the best.

Your spawn is huge in comparison, so if they are in a 20 gal, in another 2 weeks they will most likely outgrow the tank at pea size due to quantity.. figure on 8 weeks to hit about a quarter size, unless you start feeding them beef heart.

I counted 264. Obviously I had some time on my hands while doing water changes. There are probably 5 to 10 more than that unless I sucked them up when the killer attack parents weren't looking which is NEVER. The parents are crazy. They are all in a 29g. How big will they be in two weeks? How about I put up twice weekly pictures and you tell me when they need something bigger?

Knowing your maintenance routine, I would let them stay until the body is about the size of a dime before you start moving them around. I grew about that quantity in a 29 to that size before I split them into 2 tanks. Of course if you want faster growth, then at about 3 weeks split them up or put them all in a bigger tank. Each time I do this it become obvious how much more they grow in a short period.
