    If you find you have too much flow you can always diffuse it also or put a ball valve or a T after the pump to relieve some flow.

    It also looks like the Maxi-Jet has a flow adjuster.

    gb, water has to spend time in front of your UV light source for it to work. It may be possible that you are pumping too much water and the UV is minimumly effective. Check with the manufacturer of your UV light for maximum flow rates.

    Thanks for the tip Elliots. I have checked with the manufacturer and the flow rate that they suggest falls within what I am doing. There sure is a lot of contradictory information out there regarding this. That being said, I think I'm ok.
