    Went to Lake Lizzie and took both pups. They had a blast. Took the Nikon too

    WOW *feels refreshed* so beautiful !! ok i officially love the picture of Belle in the lake best, and then even better is the fact that your lil scruffy girl Gypsy comes back at the end quite bedraggled ! priceless

    and now the sad part, is it me or did the one of the driftwood/ok forrest wood just make me want to haul it home for a large tank ?!! and how can i recreate the look of this plant or that plant in the tank?? oh dear. i see scenery differently than i used to a couple of years ago !

    Gypsy loved it and it was the first time we took her. Yup, see some awesome pieces of wood but have to leave it alone...sigh

    I love that shallow standing water from Florida to North Carolina - I bet that area is absolutely loaded with blooming Spiranthes orchids in the Spring. When I lived near Jacksonville FL and Charleston SC I recall seeing literally millions of them blooming in March and April (Spiranthes vernalis).
