After a quite long wait, excited to see these eggs. Started my WC, while slowly moving the sponges and these guys are not happy with me. Oh yea, eggs!!!

And this is my very first time and hoping it will turn around some good news!!! Since there are some lot of water movement this time,lets see how it turns out!!

That's very cool, I just don't like to see them on the tank bottom to many nasties. Try to get a cone or flower pot for them to spawn on......Josie

Thx Josie, this tank has got a slate and the pvc cone was removed 2days back due to its nasty smell.. And the tank was cleaned 90% on Friday evening. I used to clean almost every day with some exception like this time.. Lets see

Eggs are not fertilized this time, there are still some left over of the eggs . My tds is around 165,interesting thing is male is trying to hide whenever i go near the tank.

And my wait continues

Since i noticed eggs turned to whitish and only few left yesterday, i didn't checked this morning. Called my wife and she mentioned kind-of brown and both the fishes are hovering on it. Is that possible to turn color from pink to brown? Or its decaying color? I need to wait till evening to go back home

Noticed this evening, i believe i managed the water tds kind of right this time. last time , eggs were decayed and eaten. So do i need to protect with a mesh this time?

Just let them go and see what happens it is better if they learn how to care for them ect rather than interfering all the time you will also get a better hatch rate and a stronger pair.
