    could just be the male is young and doesn't quite know what to do yet. give them a couple more goes. I've seen proven male and females in a tank together and the male just watches the female lay eggs. they'll eventually figure it out if in fact they're one of each sex

    The fungal eggs are still hanging on and the 2 fishes are still guarding those eggs,did i simply scratched it off or leave it alone?

    I usually leave them for the adults to clean off, but perhaps that's just me.

    Just a share, this pic is after 20hrs the eggs are laid. Do u guys see something inside or just a empty sack? Sorry for the bad pic though.

    Those eggs arent fertile,should be a yellow/golden brown.After 20hrs,maybe darken up.Not turn white.

    Ok, this f/male will be rested if eggs didn't fertilize after this attempt and new male will be introduced..

    So far no aggression right after the below male(hope so) is introduced..

    Female did some shimmering dance followed by pecking lets see how it goes..
