Very hopeful for some spawning soon. Here is the female cleaning the wood and she's been cozying up to the male trying to get his attention.

Very nice!!

Great news! Keep us posted.
I came home today and the discus ate the eggs
On another note, the pair of Bolivian ram I have in the same tank have wrigglers!!! And they are fending off the discus pair to protect their broods! I think they laid their eggs a day or two before the discus did... And all this happens in a 24x24 foot print tank... I need an upgrade!

thats brilliant ! eggs i mean not the eating the eggs part but thats AWESOME , wilds laying eggs, woohooo, hopefully they will get wrigglers and the rams get to keep theirs
Haha yea. Off discus topic but here is the ram protecting their babies. They dug about 4-5 pits around and keep moving the broods from pit to pit
The pair guarding their pit(s)

very cool. the babies will most likely get eating by the discus or other fish in the tank. i used to have a pair of bolivian rams and they bred a few times. but whenever the babies hatch. my rummynose would eat all the babies in one day lol
Not to worry. they will lay again very soon. Mine lay eggs every 10 to 14 day. After 6 to 7 times then the parents learn to take care of their fries. Now I have 2 batch of fries with me. one batch about 2 month and the other 1 month. Now you need to plan how you want to separate the pair from the rest to prevent stress and fries eaten up.
Actually they are very good parents. Most of the fry still alive as of now. They essentially pushed all the other fish including the discus into a corner and claim the entire tank (24x24 foot print as their own). I had to remove them because they are actually stressing the discus out
