Winn, when you say Ryan I think you mean rdiscus and congrats on making it to wiggler stage.
They laid every week and a few times I got them to wriggler stage but all were eaten by other fish in the tank . I don't really have the space for a breeding tank so it's survival of the fittest scenario for the eggs that do hatch

Haha yes he goes by rfish on a different forum. I'm in the process of moving and transferring the discus to their new tank so he came by and collect the eggs that was laid!

Egg were laid on the wood which attached to big slate, so put it in 20G, wrigglers looked good yesterday, but they died today without reason ... rest of them looked weak, don't think they make this time ... Next time Win

Sorry to hear this Ryan and Winn. Some of the advice given me but other successful wilds breeders to keep the water parameters the same between when the spawn is laid and the fry go free swimming. Lets hope for better results with the next spawn.

Thanks Pat we will keep that in mind
Other thing I think the reason, this was the first time they laid again after Win came back from long vacation ...
Ryan
Sorry to hear Ryan. Next time the fish are transferred over to the new house. I covered the tank w towel so they have some time to adjust to the new place since the male tends to be very skittish at time. The female is all ready out and about and begging for food
