Really? do they cut down on the CRS population? Or just the young ones?

I have my Endlers and shrimp in a planted tank with gravel, wood and lots of plants. The shrimp have plenty of hiding places. I keep the Endlers well fed, feed twice a day, don't think they care about the shrimp.

My females spit out about 20 babies today. My 12 gallon long will be filled pretty quickly it seems. Looks like I'm going to have dither fish in my discus tank eventually or black ghost knifefish food LOL!

Mine are having them like crazy too. I have two big females and they've each dropped babies twice since I got them. Luckily the rams I have them with seem to be keeping them somewhat in check.

I've got over 40 babies in my 100g tank. My Endler population has nearly doubled. I'm expecting it to within the next day or so lol.

Good to hear my fish are enjoying life in your tanks guys. I have an Electric Blue Jack Dempsey who is growing and will soon be large enough to take care of excess Endlers. They are so prolific I will be forced to do it. Right now I have a 25 gal tank of just beautiful males and will keep adding to it. You have to figure out ways to keep these little fish under some control. Enjoy them!

Mine are also multiplying. I was afraid to place them into my tank thinking they were so small, but they are fast and can hide in the plants. My big male Brilliant Blue who has been a non eater since the day I got him, I think is feasting off the fry. He has not eaten anything from me for about three weeks now, but he is not loosing weight. He also looks pretty good. This is my idea of self sustaining. I wish I could get the tank to run all by itself with out any aid from me.
