cross my fingers. Best of luck!!!
This thread is a continuation from my Second Try at Breeding Thread.
My new rookie male did what all rookies do and ate the eggs. All eggs are now gone but they are at it again and cleaning the cone and doing practice pass. We'll see in a few days when the female is ready to lay eggs if the male will eat the eggs or not. The waits starts now...
cross my fingers. Best of luck!!!
Just curious what ratio of RO water did you use for you're breeding tank?
kalel, they're horrible. just stop now before you waste anymore time and effort and send them to me. that's what friends are for.

hmmmm... I like you're thinking... YOU already know that even though I'm a red/brown-based discus bubba that I have a weak spot for Piwow RT's
I've been saving space for whether or not to pull the trigger on some blue faced browns but I'll follow closely, my friend. and just remember, regardless what kind of forum we're in, we're all a bunch of picture whores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! keep'em coming! and keep'em coming often! ("in" before someone says, "that's what she said")

Any updates Kalel? Interested to see if the eggs were fertilized.
Update: 9/17
Come home this morning and they are on eggs. Not sure when it was laid but I believe Sunday or yesterday. We will see what happens in a few days. The new male is standing guard while the female is doing most of the egg watching.
As of this morning eggs are still there. Only two eggs that I can see turned white. The rest looks like they are fertilize since they are starting to darken in the middle. Will wait till I see wriggler before I say I have a confirm male. This new male doesn't seem to like guarding the eggs as the female is doing all the work. She may be small but a very good female.
