good water and discus only...
I have wild angels with my discus and they seem to get along well. Angels are more aggressive eaters than discus, but no real issues during the feeding time. Not sure whether or not domestic angels work well with discus.

Tankmates among our planted discus tanks are longfin albino ancistrus (aka longfin albino bristle nose plecostomus), butterfly plecostomus (L052), sterbai corydoras, cardinal tetras, lemon tetras, emperor tetras, German blue rams, apistogramma cacatuoides (cockatoo dwarf cichlid) and endler's livebearers.

No aquatic creatures were harmed in the creation of this signature, although a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
apisto borellis have done fine with mine, lemon tetras (except they multiply like rabbits), cories, bn, I have a kuhli loach some where in there (once in a rare while I see him), and then some mysterious little catfish that I never saw after putting in and several years later found it when temporarily shutting down the tank to move it. hatchets are fine too but they like going airborne with me. who knows what else is in my tank.

I heard that L200 plecos are good tank mates as well
My discus tankmates: 2 blue rams, 2 bolivian rams, 1 keyhole cichlid, 1 apistogramma agassizi, 1 bnp, 1 albino bnp, 1 clown pleco, 2 julii cories, 1 sterbai cory, 12 cardinal tetras, 3 small siamese algae eaters. I had some otos in there but took hem out after one week because they kept going after my discus constantly. All get along peacefully and the variety is nice to look at.
if there's one thing I love more than a discus, if
it is two discus.
These are the tank mates with my discus
