[/IMG] No center brace,no lip,1/2" glass all the way around. [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]Any suggestions out there for a cover and lights?Be a great grow-out,getting ready to re-seal it.

You could use one or more pieces of egg crate to keep the fish in the tank. Great growout tank.

A local tan ksupplier shold be able to get you glass lids. Give them the dimensions and see what they can do!

Love the new tank! Go BIG or go home!

Hard to see in pic,but no lip,no place for glass to seat,Id be afraid of it breaking somehow.Im liking the eggcrate idea.If I suspend a light above it,shouldnt be too big of a pain when doingg wc's.Maybe some plexi-glass also to keep in heat/moisture.

Bill, since there is no lip guessing creating your own braces with glass is a no go.

Bill, you're going to have to cover that with something other than egg crate. Gonna be a PITA to heat otherwise. Remember if you cut anything that tank will BOW in the middle once filled. I had to keep that in mind when cutting plastic support strips for my old school 125. Now that I am back in town, don't snap up ALL the tanks for sale...leave one or two for me!...Bill

Be careful with the frame, I have one just like it that I plan on using for a grow out. The frame is not one piece so it is only held together by silicone. My tank stretched out and I had to reseal it.

Yeah,Ill keep an eye on it.That glass is pretty thick, and they had fish in it last year. But,thats why its in the basement.Cant belive I got it down there by myself, but it was pretty much 'downhill" all the way.

No center brace on that 125. Was made that way back then. Very thick glass, but when filled, bowed a bit...Bill

Bill, you can go to a glass shop ( very in-expensive) and give them dims for the tops. You can get also get a glass piece cut to make a center support, just seal it in. Then as mentioned egg crate the tank into thirds for grow outs. or pairs?
