Not sure how you keep track of them all Pat, such a vast collection haha.
That hog is the Trombeta from Mark from this past summer and it is paired up with one of the Cuipeua. He is a big boy and the largest wild I have.

Forgive my ignorance here, but how big do they usually get? Do different wilds have different size limits?

Coree, this is my best guess. Some wild discus populations are known for their large size and many of the larger discus collected go to the people who consistently pay a premium for the larger, nicer discus.

Discus can grow up to 15cm and, in captivity, can live for over 30 years. They can start breeding at the age of 12-15 months years and will form a mated pair to care for their young

Found this, wouldn't it be really nice if we could keep these guys for 30 years.

I'm not sure about the 30 years life span. I have some fellow discus keepers that report having their fish tops 6-8 years until they really start looking elder

I never really looked at the members section of the forum before, but I'm glad I have now. Great post Pat, I could look at photos of wilds all day long and there are some real nice fish on this post. Thanks for sharing.
