Yes to both Rick. ATM I am growing the heckels out as they were sub-adults when I got them. They have grown quite a bit since I have them and are maturing nicely. I think a heckel to any Alenquer region wild (red based) will make a attraction natural cross and there are the three heckel crosses from Tara which could be a potential pairing.
I do realize the heckel to heckel is highly unlikely but hoping the magic Florida water will help...
