Worst part of the whole deal... We just moved to the area so, not having a network of friends out here, it was just Tom, the Glasscages driver, and I moving this into the suburban.

Make sure you read the warning from GlassCages about not filling your tank until it is fully cured. I think it is 3 weeks from the manufacture date GlassCages puts on the side of the tank for tanks up to 31" high and 4 weeks for taller but make sure to check with them. You should have a notice from them about how long you have to wait.

Thanks for the heads up Elliots. This was from the Specials section and has been waiting for a home for a little over a month. Fully cured, not that it matters because I probably won't be ready to put water in the tank for a few weeks anyway

It's in the house. I might need to see a chiropractor, but it's in!

Hey Jeff, tank is going to sit idle for a while while I grow out some of Hans' puppies. I'm going for an Amazonian Biotope. 55 or 75 sump. Hope to max out at about 20 display fish with some supporting characters. I don't think it's going to meet the purists definition of an Amazonian biotope because my cast of supporting characters are not specific to the amazon. I still mhave some time to tweak that so you never know.

Had a 150 with the dims 24x24x31,so tanks that high are no longer my cup of tea. That being said, that big hunk of glass will make a great display tank.with that hight,I siliconed drift wood to the glas tops, and it looked like roots hanging into the tank. Before I had a digital camera,so I don't think I have any pics.

I'm sitting here chuckling... If you go back and look at some of my previous posts, that is EXACTLY what I am planning with the driftwood. I already have a guy out hunting for the perfect specimen. I was also thing about attaching some plants that will grow out of the top of the tank and maybe a few floaters that will drop roots. I am not going to over plant this thing and since I have the room will probably go with some large leaf plants mid tank with a few tall stem plants in the back and see how it goes.

Slow going but still making progress. Sent in drawings for my steel stand today. Hopefully I'll get some nice professional drawings to share with you before the weeks is out.
