Len I think the one is a male I saw him in person and I don't know just has that look of a male plus the size, I hope I'm right . Plus no doubt she could lay that many eggs the way Pat feeds lol.

If they are a pair - OMG you're going to have a lot of little fish. I hope they are.

Tomorrow we should know Len. I went over to my parents today and arrived back about 9:30 and there are less eggs. ...but still about 500 if Keith's count is good.

Check the security cameras! Keith may have been in your fishroom swapping cones If you get wigglers and they turn out to be red turks or pigeon bloods of some sort you'll know for sure.

Just as a side note the Heckel X pair has a spawn just below the Trombeta x Cuipeua spawn and the tank temp is (ok, do not shoot me) 74.

Yes, PB babies would definitely clear me. If I had to guess Pat I'd say if anything my count was low, so maybe you still have 600.

Well this morning Keith the egg count is zero. Big time bummer. The egg fairy is not being good to me.

In the meantime the little heckel X pair have about a half frozen whitest eggs. I think the male missed a couple. They have a good sized spawn but no way near the size of the Trombeta/Cuipeua pair.
